Project title: RESOURCES OF THE CURVED INITIATIVE FUND

Project goal:

When restarting the Curriculum Initiative Fund and moving to the next stage of development, it is important not only to shed light on the capacity needs of the Fund, but also to show what we as a team can do to address them.

Project business card: 

With the entry of new people into the Foundation's management and increasing the knowledge and understanding of all those involved about the meaning of the organization and its values, a strong team has been established to launch the Foundation's second five-year operation. By creating a new information platform of the Foundation, the public is regularly and modernly informed about the activities and existence of the organization. Taking a step forward with the desire to become a more powerful organization in the future, we have reduced the Fund's dependence on project funding by creating a type of operating income that is directly related to the Fund's core business.

Creation of a new information platform of the Foundation

Objectives of the activity:  

​

• Long-term - to ensure high-quality recognition of the Curonian Initiative Fund. 

• Short-term - to create an information platform with a business card type website with a separate information section dedicated to the project, Instagram account, Linkedin account, Twitter account, Facebook account.

Activity implementation period: 2021-06-01 to 2021-11-30.

Education through real practice

​

Objectives of the activity:

​

  • Long-term - to promote the Fund's independence from project financing and to be able to sell the Fund's products. 

• Short-term - to organize a self-study course on auctioning and sales channels in the digital environment, and a training course “Development of a business plan for a pottery workshop”.

Activity implementation period: 2021-09-28 to 2022-06-30

Training program - Foundation team coaching

The purpose of this activity is to strengthen the organization in achieving its goals and objectives. Only smart and educated people are the key to the future success of an organization.

With this Foundation training program, we want to lay a powerful foundation for the next 5 years. The Foundation's team coaching will help us understand who we are today, what and how we want to achieve TOTAL over the next five years.

Activity implementation period: 2021-11-01 to 2022-05-31

Establishment of a pottery workshop and training

Objectives of the activity: 

• Long-term - to start economic activities ensuring the Fund's partial independence from project financing and to establish a workshop for the acquisition of the profession of potter and to ensure the inheritance of the traditions of the profession of pottery. 

• Short-term - to organize training courses led by pottery masters and to organize a public lecture "Rucava pottery during the 19th - 20th centuries" and to film it.
